Discovery School celebrates individuality, contributing to community responsibility, and the joy of learning. Each child is unique and learns at their own pace, the community is a valuable resource for learning and contributing to our community is a personal obligation. To provide an exceptional experience, Discovery School depends on financial support from parents, past parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends to sustain and build its outstanding educational program and facilities. Year after year, the Discovery community responds generously to fund raising efforts.

Like all independently financed schools, Discovery relies on contributed funds for a percentage of each year's operating budget. Tuition revenues provide approximately 70 percent of necessary income for classroom instruction and associated operation costs. The additional income needed is made up through gifts to the Read-A-thon, Annual Giving Fund, and the Auction.
