After 27 years the legacy lives on . . .
After serving Spokane students and families for 27 years, Discovery School can no longer financially operate. Discovery School has been an important part of the Spokane educational community, and we are disheartened to see it close.
We are proud that Discovery School has touched the lives of hundreds of students over the years. The stories from our alumni confirm that Discovery School made a difference in their lives and played a positive role in who they are and what they have contributed to our society. We wish the best to all students and staff in their pursuit of education and life.
This website will continue to make available several projects which Discovery School students created as a community service, primarily the Spokane History pages. The Spokane History site is the cumulative work of 12 years of students in the 5th and 6th grades. They are valuable contributions and heavily used. In addition, First Lego League links and scientific data collected by students at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge may be shared.
